The short answer

No official GTA 6 console bundle from Sony or Microsoft is announced as of October 7, 2026 Confirmed. The June 24 PlayStation Blog post we read mentions buying a PS5 or PS5 Pro at direct.playstation.com and local retailers but describes no bundle or hardware offer Confirmed. We found no Xbox listing or announcement of one either.

What exists instead

  • Retailer-made packages. In July, netzwelt reported that Amazon Germany listed Xbox Series S and Series X (refurbished) bundles with a GTA 6 download code. It said they were put together by Amazon, not Microsoft Unconfirmed.
  • Gift-card offers. games.gg reports that Best Buy gives My Best Buy members a $50 gift card when an eligible console and a GTA 6 pre-order share one order, credited by November 25 Unconfirmed. That is a rebate, not a bundle.
  • Console prices. We list none. The PlayStation console page says to check retailers for price, and the Xbox Series X page showed placeholder prices when we read it Confirmed. Look at the seller's page on the day you buy.

What to watch for

Signs a real bundle is coming

Remember that the physical Standard Edition is a download code in a box, not a disc Confirmed. A bundle would likely follow that. See how to pre-order.

Does a PS5 Pro make sense?

The PlayStation page for the game lists PS5 and PS5 Pro as the platforms Confirmed. We read no official statement of Pro-specific features or performance for GTA 6, so we do not claim any. If you already own a PS5, there is no confirmed reason to upgrade for launch day. If you are buying new anyway, the more useful questions are storage and your TV. Our PS5 Pro and SSD buying guide covers drive space, and the display guide covers screens.

Is there an official PS5 GTA 6 bundle?

Not as of October 7, 2026. The PlayStation Blog post we read has no bundle details Confirmed.

Is there an Xbox GTA 6 bundle?

We found no Microsoft announcement. Amazon Germany sold its own packages in July Unconfirmed.

Should I wait for a bundle?

Launch is November 19, 2026, and nothing says a bundle is coming. If you need a console now, buy for the console, not for a rumour.

Does GTA 6 have PS5 Pro enhancements?

We have not seen an official list, so we cannot say.
