Game Informer announced on September 25, 2026 that Grand Theft Auto VI is the cover of its next issue, which Khel Now reports as a 14-page feature with interviews with Rockstar designers and 12 previously unseen screenshots. Unconfirmed The issue is reported to have gone out on September 29.
More interviews. Still no feature list from Rockstar.
According to Khel Now, the feature covers an "advanced" weather system meant to model less sunny Florida conditions, wildlife on land, in the water and in the air, and how Rockstar researched Miami and Florida to build Leonida and Vice City. Unconfirmed We could not open Game Informer's article or the issue itself, so we rely on this one report and cannot quote the interviews.
Rockstar's official GTA VI site has no matching post. A magazine feature with studio input is not the same as a Rockstar announcement, and anything beyond weather and wildlife is not confirmed here. No new trailer, release date or edition change came with the issue.
For fans, this is more background on the world, not a new reveal. Our setting guide lists what Rockstar's own site says about Leonida, and the November 19, 2026 date has not changed.
